This is was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I received a text message from Villa Ford about a month ago or so to schedule an appointment as soon possible because my 2018 Ford Eco Sport was on the Ford’s recall list, and I was urged to take my vehicle in to fix the problem so, I scheduled the appointment for Wednesday at 7:00 A.M. so, I got there at or about 6:00 A.M. to ensure that I was the first customer there to have my car repaired and serviced as quickly as possible. At 7:00 A.M. Service Advisor Joel Angulo told me that Villa Ford doesn’t know or have the parts required to fix The oil-drive belt tensioner arm may fracture or separate, causing a loss of vehicle power and power braking assist, increasing the risk of a crash. I explained to Mr. Angulo multiple times that the main reason I went to Villa Ford is because I was advised to do so, but Mr. Angulo didn’t seem to believe me or care no matte what I said. At that point I realized that the conversation was going nowhere so, I addressed other concerns and maintenance work that I needed done on my car. The first I addressed was that my vehicle’s air conditioner was not heating. I also addressed the gear panel was lighting, and I needed a service technician to diagnose them for me. I contacted Mr. Angulo, at approximately 8:20 A.M. to follow up on the status of my vehicle. Long story short, my car was at Villa Ford for over a day and a half, and Mr. Angulo still didn’t have a diagnosis for my vehicle. At that point, I told Mr. Angulo that I need a courtesy loaner vehicle if my car had to be there for a few days. Mr. Angulo, didn’t offer a courtesy loaner vehicle until after I suggested/requested said vehicle so that I can get around while my vehicle was being worked on. To conclude, the only work that was done to vehicle was the automatic transmission fluid exchange service. My air conditioning unit and the lighting on my gear panel were not diagnosed for some reason. To make matters worse, I went to pick up my and the two girls at the Cashier’s Desk couldn’t find my paperwork so, that I can get my car. I had to get Mr. Angulo involved to help me with this, which I do appreciate. To summarize. I’m satisfied with the automatic transmission fluid exchange that was done, but I’m very disappointed, frustrated, and unhappy that I went almost 2 days without a vehicle to get around. I have spent a lot of money trusting my car to Villa Ford of Orange, and if this is the treatment I’m going to get, then maybe I should consider taking my car elsewhere. I would love to continue doing business with Villa Ford of Orange, but I don’t know what your establishment or personnel can do make my experience pleasant and enjoyable as it has been in the past. Second time serving my vehicle with this dealership and it looks to be a second time my vehicle was returned to me damaged. The first was a scrape that was able to be buffed out upon my having to return to the dealership to get repaired. And secondly, a door ding. So far though the staff has been great about addressing the issues and we'll see about how this second issue is taken care of.

I told Glen when I brought the car in that the brakes were grinding, like a metal on metal sound. He said the pads were fine unless under 5mm. The inspection came back at 3mm and he still insisted they were fine. He told me a high pitched alarm noise would be triggered if the pads got too low. He also said the service dept was backed up and couldn’t fix the brakes until Monday anyway, even though I had brought the car in with an appointment to replace the brakes on Friday. We needed our car for a family trip on Saturday so went ahead and took the car home on Friday since he insisted it was safe and no service was needed on the brakes, and only the oil change, tire rotation, and transmission fluid was done as part of 60k service. The brake noise didn’t get any better over the weekend, and the horn suddenly sounded funny out of nowhere. My wife took it back in since I was out of town for work this week and turns out the pads were shot and rotors were now also needing to be replaced. Glen also insisted the horn wasn't anything that the mechanics at Villa Ford had caused and we would have to pay for it to be fixed. He then was very condescending to my wife and finally relented when she lost her cool due to his attitude. I heard about all of this once I was back in town. I do not plan on bringing out vehicle back to Villa Ford or getting any future vehicles from Villa, but wanted you to know his advice and attitude was unacceptable and lost you a customer.
