Ford services had my car for over a month , and I’m still having problems with my vehicle not changing gears. I was almost stranded after having my car back for 1 day. Sheldon stated my car would jerk for a few days driving, but it’s worse than a jerk, it would not shift out of 1st gear.

I brought my car in on Friday afternoon, December 13th, with a problem concerning my brakes. A safety driving issue. I was told my car would be tested the following Monday, December 16th and I would be informed of the results. My car was not tested Monday. Eventually, my car was tested late Tuesday, December 17th and finally repaired Wednesday, December 18th. There was some doubt as to whether the repairs could be completed on this date. Fortunately the work was completed and I was able to pick up my car late Wednesday afternoon. An offer of alternate transportation would have been appreciated, but was not offered. I needed to cancel then rearrange a day trip to the Antelope Valley to pick up a relative requiring transportation to an important doctors appointment that we waited for two months. Thankfully we had one extra day for me to travel to the Antelope Valley. I am hopeful that in the future, that the value of my time waiting for the resolution to a mechanical problem, regarding the safe operation of my vehicle, would be taken into consideration. I have used Villa Ford’s service department for over 10 years. This was not a good customer care experience. Debra G

First off, Glen was great. Something else is amiss. (I emailed Glen the details & photos earlier today, fyi.) After the previous service in September, and again (albeit worse) this time around, my rear license plate has been yanked from one corner. The 1st time in September, it was a small bend and I thought nothing of it and bent it back to straight. I thought perhaps it happened on accident, or even at my home. This time, it was bent severely (leaving some bit of a crease) with the frame snapped. There is no way it could be "coincidence" that I found this same type of damage within 24 hours of each service. Not sure who is doing this. I am not looking for any resolution for my end, but STRONGLY suggest that the cameras be reviewed from my visit this week (from drop-off to pick-up) to see who is responsible for the vandalism. Some employee (or contractor or frequent visitor) of the dealership is taking liberties with my vehicle (and perhaps other's). Again, I can certainly straighten my own plate and will be replacing the frame on my own (Something non-dealer & more personal - it's past time to do so anyhow) - so nothing need be done for my benefit on your part. I really just want the internal issue there to be looked into for my sake & the sake of others. Thanks, Bill Carrigan
