I was glad and thankful that the latches on my car doors were all able to be replaced, this is now the fifth time but I understand the door latch recall is not anybody at the dealerships fault. Unfortunately my overall experience was terrible because when I arrived to pick up my vehicle I saw at least 3 workers not wearing their masks indoors. We are still in a pandemic I cannot understand why of all places they would choose to disregard that policy, especially around customers. The worst part was the women who brought me my car, she had the audacity to not wear a mask either. Its one thing to not wear a mask around others but to not wear one when your driving a customers car just seems unprofessional and honestly unacceptable. I understand it’s hot and the masks are not comfortable but at least wear the mask in front of customers and take it off all you want in a break room or office. I work in a hotel and have to wear one along with gloves for my entire shift, I do it for my safety and the safety of those around me and I expect the same from staff at a company like ford.

Walked into service writer desk area. 6 writers I could see to make eye contact with. None even acknowledged I was standing there. Yes it was only for a few minutes but none had a customer in front of them. They were either on the phone or on the computer. I mention this because I came in on Saturday and the same thing happened. Was finally addressed and the wait time was not conducive with my schedule so came back today earlier. Glen was the only one that Actually acknowledged me and walked over from almost around the left corner to come over and ask if he could help me. He has helped me before and the experience was the same. We discussed previous service and what service should be done today and in the future.

No clearly explanations from tech on final paper work. I did rerun ODB scanning test with my personal ODB scanner tool, it still shows exactly same 2 error codes as before came down to your service? The question is: why my scanner tool still pointed out the issues? You said “reprogrammed the system...” but error code still there? Which one should I trust? Should I try another service as a “second opinion “? At this moment, I don’t see “Check engine” icon pops up yet BUT I’ll definitely go to another Ford service to see any better diagnosis. Of course, it has to be similar issue. I have to run my scanner tool again to compare with what it last saved incident report.

Almost a complete lack of communication during the week that my car was in the shop. We were only contacted two times prior to being told the car was ready then I got a text from him. All other contact was initiated by us. There is no excuse I can think of (because none was offered) to explain what took so long to fix the car, especially given the fact that my husband called ahead, explained the situation and made an appointment. When he called on the third day of the car being in the shop he was told that they had to order the parts (shocks) and were waiting for them. In the meantime nothing else had been done (battery, air conditioner and brakes). I will never bring my car back to your dealership and I will let others know how incredibly frustrating and, quite frankly rude, it was to deal with silence. Two phone calls from Sheldon in 7 days to tell us how much the repairs were going to be and one more that it was going to cost more and 1 text after we called and were told the car was ready. Ford of Orange kept me informed with regular texts and/or phone calls whenever they were working on my car. What a disappointment Villa Ford has been.
