I brought my car in on Saturday to get oil changed and USB charger looked at. Service attendant told me they couldn’t do the USB charger on Saturday because that dept is no available. He said bring it back Monday and we will have it fixed then. Brought car on Monday and different service attendant and manager tells me it’s 48hrs. This is my car I drive everyday. I can’t be without it for 48hrs. Why would it take 48hrs for a small USB charger to be looked at? Also the discrepancy between getting fixed Monday and 48hrs is annoying. I came in early on my day off to get it serviced (twice) just to be told they can’t do it for 48hrs. The service tech that helped me and manager on duty on Monday morning were not really helpful or understanding to the issue of my time being valuable. Felt very brushed off as just another customer. This is my first Ford and I’m not very thrilled about the service so far.

I brought my vehicle in for service on February 10. While I was pleased with the gentleman that helped me, Glenn, all other aspects of this experience were less than desirable.I drove my vehicle out of state and my check engine light came on. I took my vehicle to Sunshine Ford in Arizona and in less then 2 hours they diagnosed the problem as an emissions problem that required a part that would have to be ordered. I was told there is no issue driving it so I drove it back to California to Villa Ford where I purchased the vehicle.I had an appointment and left my vehicle there for nine hours and never was my vehicle diagnosed. I spent $40 to rent a car and was told over the phone a few days later that my warranty should have covered that car rental. I was never told that and payed out of pocket. I have scheduled another appointment to address the check engine light for this coming Monday February 17. I was told over the phone that Villa Ford was willing to go ahead and order the specific part Sunshine Ford stated the vehicle would need but if after Villa Ford diagnosed the vehicle it should be that this is the wrong part I would then have to pay a 20% restocking fee. Not even Walmart requires this when returning merchandise so this seems unprofessional to me. I was also told there are no guarantees that my car will be diagnosed during the next visit as well. So basically I’m concluding that unless I pay for a service out of pocket I’ll need to leave my vehicle at the dealership for upwards of several days because they are “too backed up”. Basically the problems covered under warranty get serviced last. This is a huge disappointment!
