I'm curious as to why an air filter was recommended.I purchased and installed a new air filter approx. 3000 miles ago. I find it very strange that my air filter was dirty enough to warrant a change this quickly. It's expensive and unnecessary. Secondly, my check engine light came on when I started my car this morning. I called service and they can't take my car before Monday.
