I called to make a service appointment and the earliest appointment was over 2 weeks away. I took it. I arrived on time to my appointment. I was told by the service advisor that I could not get a rental vehicle paid for by Ford until my vehicle was diagnosed and it was confirmed that the repair was under warranty. Robert then said that they probably wouldn’t be able to look at my car until “after lunch time.” It was 9:30 a.m. and I had to go to work, so he suggested I go to Enterprise and that he would send them the P.O. later that day after diagnosis. I did as he instructed. After not hearing from Robert all day, at 3:00 I called for an update. I was told that they still had not looked at my car but he would get back to me. At this point I’m wondering what the point of an appointment is if they can’t even look at it the same day. Super inconvenient because I could potentially have to pay the extra day(s) for the rental car if the repair wasn’t warranty. They ended up looking at the car shortly after my call but Robert said the diagnosis would probably not be received until the next morning. The next afternoon Tim called, being sure to let me know that “Robert came in on his day off” to check on my car (thanks for the guilt trip I never asked for) and he was told to let me know they looked at my car but still hadn’t made the diagnosis. He called back in the evening to let me know again that they had no update. The next day in the afternoon I called back for an update and Robert let me know they made the diagnosis, verified it was under warranty and they were currently replacing the seal, but said it wouldn’t be ready for pickup until the next morning so they could road test it and wash it. I got a call the next day at around 9:30 letting me know the car was ready for pickup. I picked it up at noon, and the valet asked me if I wanted it washed. I was confused because Robert said this was going to be done already. I was offered to wait 15 minutes while they washed it, but declined because I had to go to work. Overall Robert was courteous, and none of the issues are his fault, I just thought it was ridiculous that I waited 2 weeks for an appointment for my car to just sit there waiting to be looked at, then waiting over a day for diagnosis. Meanwhile I’m stressing out over having to possibly pay for the rental car for all these extra days while I wait. Then paying $100 deductible for a seal to be replaced, and not even getting a car wash? I wish Ford would do onsite loaner vehicles; it’s so much more convenient for the customer.

I have taken my car @ 4 times same problems and they have not been able to fixed the problem, the problem got worst (cracking noise when turning the wheels) now I’m tape recording the noise since they can’t seem to find the problem, I have a really expensive car that I wished I could buy because I love it but I’m changing my mind about ford cars.
