Worst service rep ever at frontier Toyota. Last week a woman called my husband to tell us that our 2020 Camry would need service. She told him about a coupon for oil and tire rotation for $59. I called yesterday and Requested that last woman who helped me was not a employee any longer so they gave me to Lilly K. She answered the phone very rude, rushed me through what the service was for, almost hung up on me. I stopped her and said “how much is this service?” She said over 100.00, I told her my husband told me that we had a person call us with a promotion, she told me, No that’s expired. My husband called back and spoke to a manager and he told him he would honor the coupon they offered me last week. I I drove my Camry in 9:50 o’clock which was my appointment time today and my son and I knocked on her door since it was closed, she was not on the phone but on the computer and asked us to come inside with her hand gesture. When my son and I came in we said hello, she didn’t even speak to us and continue to do what she was doing on the computer. She left us there for about a minute without saying anything to us so my son and I started talking to each other to make it known that we were there. She was very rude and disrespectful. She tried to sell me a service that my car would need and showed me a promotion on her desk for hundreds of dollars. I told her I couldn’t afford it at this time and she rolled her eyes at me. She printed out the paperwork and asked me to sign the little black pad on the desk and rushed me out again. I asked her how long this would take and she said two hours. Several times before this appointment an oil change and tire rotation would only take an hour so I question why it took so long. She said that’s how long it takes go eat something “sarcastically” my 10-year-old son and I left and came back about 11:42. We knocked on her door again and asked her if my car was almost ready, she said no the workers are snails. I waited again for an extra 10 minutes before I went into the managers office to tell him what had happened about the coupon and the time of the service taking so long. I told him I was promised the car within two hours and I had to pick up my daughter from school and I couldn’t be late. He walked me into his office and made a phone call I noticed my car head came from the top of the parking structure and driven down into the area where they maintain the cars. It was barely lift it up about five minutes to 12:00pm. I sat there and watch them barely start my car at 11:50, Lilly took off to lunch before the two hours was up. I waited another 34 minutes before my car was done. I was late to pick up my daughter from school and I couldn’t believe that they just walked me out of there without an apology. He did honor the $59 that was quoted me last week but after all this trouble I would think he would’ve comped the service. We’ve gotten several cars from the dealership and if it wasn’t for “lucky” we would never buy another car from them. We also on a 2021 Toyota Corolla and I don’t think I will bring that car ever again to be serviced at the dealer. Worst service advisor ever !

I waited for a long time. I usually don’t mind when I’m a waiter. But if nobody updates a customer (me) about the status of the vehicle, whether it’s already done or not, then it’s another story. I checked in at 1:45, and at around 5:15 pm I asked if somebody already called me. No one knew. I asked the cashier and she called someone on the phone. I was to be informed when my car was ready. I waited yet for another few minutes. A girl was at the cashier’s area and I asked again if my car was ready. She said “Oh I already closed you off.” I said “I don’t know what that means; nobody told me.” She went to her office and checked me out (I think). Bottom line, it was the worst service ever. I’ve had many cars and I don’t usually “complain” even if I wait as long as I am kept informed. Also, the last time I went to Frontier (last year, Oct 20, 2021), service was also bad. But I never left a review. This time I felt I had to.

Carlos carefully reviewed the last service on alignment made last March 1st. The problem of the car’s veering slightly to the right is not then alignment problem, rather, the tires. So, an adjustment was made, thereby correcting the problem. It was a good assessment and action taken. He advised that I should take caution in checking my tires to avoid the same problem, if not changing them in due time.

Toyota nor the dealer were any help. I had no choice but to get ripped off for repairs on a truck with a catastrophic failure that just so happened to be barely out of warranty. My 2017 Tacoma with only 38,000 miles on the odometer was leaking oil from the timing cover. This is a known issue with these trucks. The part I’m sure was replaced with the same old part that was problematic; therefore I can probably expect this issue again within the next 40,000 miles. Toyota corporate and the dealer deemed this failure as driver fault. I have never owned a vehicle that had this type of issues at 38,000 miles. I will NEVER buy a Toyota again and neither will my family. I work in the automotive field and I will be telling as many people as possible stay away from Toyota because the reputation they once had is completely gone.
