I appreciate management's adjustment very much. What I was dissatisfied with was that Joe **** did not ask me if he could do another procedure in lieu of the battery (I believe it was changing the fluids on something) and reassured me the price was about the same even though I did not get a new battery.
In the end I felt I had been taken advantaged of because I did not get a written quote. In the past Valerie Reynoso has always explained and shown me written quotes- so I do not think this reflects Frontier in general. But doing everything verbal and changing things around felt rather underhanded. After the fact, I realized I had never consented to the change in work order.
It is this type of experience that makes people distrust "salesmen" and ultimately may make me go find another dealer for maintenance and purchase of vehicles. You are convenient because you are in Valencia. But honestly... I'm a bit hesitant to go back and you have lost a lot of my trust. I just may go to Thousand Oaks Toyota because I have an uncle there and he will help me not get the "switcharoo"

We used to come to Frontier Toyota for all our service needs. However, it began to seem like every time we brought our cars in the service advisors would always try to get more money from us. It became tiresome. Jobs that should cost $200 would be estimated at $500. So, we now take our vehicles to PACC automotive who is much more reasonable and they keep good records of work done on our cars. We will still bring our cars to Frontier for recall work.

I've always liked frontier Toyota. I bought 3 cars there. I always bring my present vehicle in for service every 5000 miles (my Prius has 165,000 miles). The personnel are great and the service is outstanding.
