Hector was wonderful upon intake and I don’t think he did anything wrong! Everyone I worked with was wonderful in person. However I think something was lost in translation during communications when my car was with you. I dropped it off Thursday morning and was initially told that it would be ready Saturday. I called four times on Saturday and the only time I got a live person, they sent me to Hectors voicemail, which i had already left a message on hours earlier. I’m sure he was just off that day but I was still without a car over the rest of the weekend. So I figure parts needed to come in and I call on Monday, still no response. I walk over after work and there’s a sign that says you closed early. Okay, so I call back on Tuesday. For the second time I manage to get a person, she says they everyone is unavailable but that it’s not done yet. So I’m back to BART and bus, which is more of an effort with where I live, and the moment I arrive in east bay I get a text saying that my car is ready! It felt like no one wanted to call me back at that point, and clearly the person I spoke to was unaware that it would have been ready if I had come by a little bit later. I’m not unhappy with the service on my car but I hope you understand that this was frustrating. A simple update on the estimated pickup was all I needed, and the details of how I had to rearrange plans without a car aren’t really relevant, but if I had known that I wouldn’t be able to get my car for almost a week instead of the promised two days, I would have rented a car or made other arrangements. I feel that a texted status update would have made a world of difference in my overall satisfaction and would be worth considering in the future.

My purpose of the visit was randomly squeaking brakes. The car is 2years old and I was told it was to be expected because of the friction of the different metals used ( my description). The brakes were cleaned and found to be ok. However, I cannot believe that a car 2 years old has squeaking brakes). The noise has continued and is really annoying. I drive 80 miles a day and I don’t hear any other VWs squeaking like mine - old taxis and trucks absolutely. It’s very disappointing no matter how nice The experience and the people were. Thank you.

Johnny was extremely efficient when I dropped off and picked up my car so I really appreciated that. He also kept me abreast of any developments along the way. I also like that you reimburse for Lyft/Uber up to $20. The only thing I wished was that you guys could have washed the car before returning it to me but I know you don't have the car wash permit yet. You might consider giving folks a gift certificate for a nearby car wash in the meantime...?

The work performed on my car was satisfactory but this advisor is rude, unpleasant, and condescending. I have been coming to your dealership for repairs and body work on my vehicles for more than 15 years and don’t expect bad treatment. This guy is a total ****. Service manager seems nice though.
