I normally do not participate in surveys or follow-up comments, but my last visit (11/25/19) to the Lexus of Westminster Service Center made me realize that there are different levels of service within all companies-organizations. My initial complaint of mechanical noise was addressed by keeping my vehicle for testing & observation. Nothing was found, and I was made to feel as if I had imagined the whole thing. Later, I returned to the service center for general maintenance. I met with Don Gillilan, my assigned service advisor. He inquired about my vehicle and I shared my concern about the noise. He instantly recalled a similar situation and consulted with one of the technicians. The technician met with me and Don, asking me to elaborate on the sound and circumstances. They collaborated and suggested to leave my vehicle for a software update. In the end it cost me an additional $160.00, and no one would guarantee that the software update would solve the problem. I’m happy to say, as of December 16, I have not experienced the noise and it has brought a piece of mind to me. I thank Don for being an experienced professional. Like most things, some things are better than others. Thank you Don Gilliilan for listening, knowing and most importantly, caring!
