My service from Kia of Bedford has been extremely poor since the very beginning 8/3/20. It has taken me 5 months to finally get this service department to follow through with the service that I came in for. After multiple calls to this dealership without a response from Gary who indicated he would call me back multiple times. Gary told me he was working on it and he hadn’t forgot. But he did. I reached out to Kia customer service and that was NO better. After many calls to them they informed me that they cant call the dealership they can only email them and they have to wait for a response for which they didn’t reply to accurately. Only after my 4th call to customer service and when I stated I was going to contact the BBB that they escalated my complaint to the regional service director Dan D. It took him almost 2 months to follow up with me. He did not know what was going on and when I indicated what the issue was he then called the dealership to investigate. He called me back and told me we needed to start over. After 5000 miles, 4 consumption test and I’m back at the start with no explanation why or what happened. Since I needed an oil change Dan said I can schedule it and we can start the testing. I refused to have the oil change done at Kia of Bedford because of the poor service. I have been repeatedly told I can’t go to another dealership. He said he would not cover the oil change and he can’t force me to go get an oil change there so I can come in after my oil change and they can evaluate my car and start testing. He instructed to ask for the service manager Eric upon my arrival. When I got there the service manager Eric was rude, cold, dismissive. Stated he could not use my oil change. I told him Dan said I could go where I wanted and I can come in afterwards. Eric called Dan and said he couldn’t use my oil change then left the desk to talk to Dan on the service floor so I couldn’t hear. Eric came back and indicated Dan would cover an oil change for now when he wouldn’t just days prior. This is an example of some of the issues I’ve had. Upon finishing my car Eric never once acknowledged the poor service, the lack of follow through or if I had any questions. He let me know what Dan did for me and what he did for me and would see me back in 500 miles. Eric’s demeanor demonstrates the overall poor service I have received since August. Being directed to the manager yet again does not give me the since that the issue with my car will be taken care of or that I’m a valued customer. The car is burning oil and I’m at the end of my warranty. I can say I never had an issue here before but this will ensure that I will never buy another Kia vehicle again and I will tell anyone who will listen about my service at KOB. My complaint to the BBB has more details and I didn’t put everything in that one either. I will however put it on my social media post. I can say I even reached out to VP of communications corporate James Bell. I can say he indicated that he passed my complaint into customer service but that didn’t help either. I don’t even know if they got it since I had to make so many calls. If I could have reached William Peffer I would explain my dissatisfaction. I guess I can’t expect the department to give good service when the manager, service director, customer service all have shown me it stems from top down. A word of advice....when you mess up acknowledge it and do everything to make it better. Don’t continue the poor service!!!!!!!

Each time I go there especially with a coupon there is always some additional increase . Also my settings are always changed and I have to figure out how to change them back, it is annoying. I rather not come in. Also, it would be nice if when asked to leave my name and number to receive a call back from the service department that they actually call back.
