Brought my moms Jeep Cherokee in for service and found out after the fact that a service tech had driven the vehicle home (30 miles away), kept it over night and drove it back the next morning (another 30 miles). The only way we found out is because my mom left her cell phone in the car and we tracked it. I understand cars need to be driven to recreate the issue but to take a car home overnight that far away without asking us or making us aware is ridiculous. John Otero was our service agent and he apologized but didn’t offer any amends (can we get a full tank of gas perhaps since the car was driven 60 miles without our knowledge?)
We were told you don’t deal with CarShield so we arranged to have the car towed to another repair shop. John said you were open until 6 pm but we tried calling around 5:30 and the lady said the service area was all locked up and everyone was gone for the day, so we had to re schedule the tow for this morning and we have not heard from John since. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and we will not be bringing any vehicles here again.
