The service experience moved along quickly and smoothly and the truck drives quite nicely
Through much of my dialog with the service representative I felt like I was being conned, conned into doing more work than was necessary. I am still not convinced that many of the seals and gaskets he wanted to replace were bad. I could not get a clear answer as to how the propeller shaft was bad or where it was broken. I suspect he wanted to sell me a package and not just the u-joints. Also I asked for the replaced parts and did not get them.
We asked for a smog check but were told that there was a check engine light on so a smog check could be done. As I follow up note, no offer was made to diagnose the (Phantom) engine light.there is a ABS light on but no engine light. Also there was no offer to diagnose the ABS light. The final verbal quote I got was 2.3K but the the bill was 2.7K. I felt conned.
I like the way the truck drives, much smoother and quieter.
We are very thankful that we were not charged for the rental car. My wife loved the 2015 Corolla.

Brian Woods did an excellent job with my car. He explained clearly to me what my car would be serviced today.
But I was very disappointed to know that there was no TV remote control available for any TV you have for the consumer waiting room. I asked several employees and got different answers. Finally one person told me the bigger TV is set for the sports only. Why is this set for sports only? Who makes the decision here? Consumer or you, owner/ seller? Then, another employee came to me with the remote control of the bigger TV saying this is the one but the batteries were not working. I asked him " can you change the batteries?" He said nothing and left. Finally one employee referred to me to the smaller TV where many people were watching something that I was not interested. Please look into this matter and have a solution to solve this problem. I am not asking to spend time at your TV but this is the way we, consumers, spend time while waiting for services.
I would suggest to have the remote control with the receptionist and she can change the channel according to consumer's request. thank you
