Seth did an excellent job. Had the vehicle there about two weeks ago with a noise I was hearing and was told they drove it and heard no noise. Told Seth the story today and he suggested he drive and I ride along. We drove around the parking lot and within a couple minutes Seth said yes I hear the noise and told me what it was and the parts that would be required to fix the vehicle.

I have owned my truck since new and I drive from North Little Rock to Benton to have it serviced at Everett every time. Since I have owned the truck, I have had issues with the seat shifting from side to side. If you look at my file you can see this has been an issue several times while it was still under warranty and continues to this day. I was told a few times that it was a bracket issue and it was addressed but after a few weeks it would start shifting again. I don’t have time to continually drive back to Benton so I would just deal with it during maintenance. The seat has never been fixed. During my last oil change in January or February they told me it would be $500+ to have a new cushion or something put in. I told them this was unacceptable and continued to drive it with it shifting. When I returned this time I asked if they would check it again. Dillon came and told me that a bolt had been left out from the previous time I brought it in and that should fix the issue and asked me to check it before I left. I checked it and it was still shifting side to side. Dillon had the “shop foreman” look at it one more time and returned and told me that they had followed GM protocol and nothing else could be done, unless I wanted to purchase a whole new seat bracket. This is not acceptable, this seat has had issues dating way back to when it was still under warranty and has never been fixed. I should not have to pay for something out of my pocket that should have been fixed under warranty. I’m not someone to try and get something “free” but this should be covered under warranty. If this can not be resolved, Everett will never get my business again and I will not be recommending them to anyone.
