The car was purchased on May 22, 2020. Yesterday July 1st the car wouldn’t start. Called the dealership and was told it was probably the battery. Was told to jump it and bring it in. We couldn’t get to our jumper cables because the doors were all locked except the driver side front. Was told to crawl from the front to the back and get them. My 70 year old husband with a knee replacement did just that and still couldn’t lift the back because it hit the door. Then was told to call roadside assistance for help. We did get a friend to bring us cables and got the car started. Brought it in for repair. Arrived to the dealership around 8:30am. Was told they were busy but fit me in. Had to check the battery and charge it. It usually took an hour. After 2 hours 45 minutes at 11:01am, I received a text asking if I had any questions or concerns to text back. I did ask for an update and never got a response. Getting close to lunch time I walked over for an update and was told it was still charging and it would be another 1/2 hour. At 1;04pm I sent another text asking for an update because another hour had gone by. Again no response. Finally, I got a response that it was done. I finally got out of there around 1:30pm. After 4:30 hours of waiting, I was told they found nothing wrong with the battery, they found nothing draining the battery and that after they normally do this full charge there is never a problem. If the machine says the battery is good, you can’t replace it. It’s a brand new car, one month old. I asked what to do if it happens again and was told to bring it in. Something had to be wrong to drain the battery and I am afraid it will happen again and I will be stranded. I am not very happy. And I know you won’t do anything about it. So we will probably see you again when it happens again. Not very happy.
