I’m getting emails from Toyota of Greensburg about post service feedback, (implying I have my vehicle back) but no one has even contacted me about the status of my repairs since I dropped the vehicle off on 10/24 @ 7am. As of today 10/28 @ 8pm, I have not received any updates on the status of my repairs. I still have the loaner vehicle that was supplied.

Completely our fault. Truck part failed on the way home from the dealer and salesperson said parts would mail the parts tome since it just clips into the holder. After a couple of weeks back and forth, we decided best to just drive to dealer and pick up the part. It was the driver side sun visor retaining clip that failed and just needed the new one pushed in (the original one tap of the was clip broken off).
We showed up to pick up the new clip but was told we would be charged to take it, and it needs installed by a dealer. So we met Dan and got on the list for the clip installation. This was at 3:00 and thought it said 3:30 to be done (paperwork disappeared at sealer?), which was ok since we were planning on getting pizza down the road before everything gets busy on a Friday. We didn’t get out of there until after 4:00. Not a big deal but if we known that I would have made an appointment a head of time. I realize that walk-ins on a Friday afternoon are not the best idea. If I known, I would have paid for the part so we could leave and to avoid the wrath of the wife waiting to get pizza.
Next time, I’ll visit the dealer solo.
