I spoke of a concern with Toyota’s world’s best service manager regarding the automatic alignment checking tool.
I find its capabilities to correctly measurement wheel alignment accurately.
I believe that when a tire is rotated a manual depth of tread across the entire tire, left and right shoulder and center should be done.
If there is a discrepancy across the tire a better alignment diagnostic should be done.
I believe the manufacturer of the automatic measurement device should reimburse the cost of this additional diagnostic. It is apparent that their technology is insufficient.
