You should probably lock the customer’s cars when you are done with service. It’s not the representative’s fault if the tech does not lock the cars when they are finished. However, the representative SHOULD NOT tell the customer that it is not a normal procedure to lock the cars since they are sitting in front of the dealership, but “if it makes me feel more comfortable” he will lock it for me. I was not picking up my car that night because I was not going to be able to make it back in time before close and how do you think it makes a customer feel if their car is not secure on the dealership’s lot overnight. There is no security on the lot and anyone can come onto at night and if customers happen to leave their registration or insurance card in the vehicle, their personal information can easily be stolen. I really do not have any trust in the dealership that does not thinking securing my vehicle or other customers vehicles is a top priority, especially when none of your vehicles have walk away auto lock and other manufacturers do. I would not even have considered buying the vehicle if the salesperson did not say it does have the feature, but I cleared found out otherwise. If I did not have the app on my phone I would have never know that my vehicle was unlocked and sitting there for hours with the risk of someone possibly stealing my personal information and having access to my vehicle.

The car didn’t get a wash and service gave my invoice to the wrong customer and let them pay then gave them the fob to my car. This exposed my personal information to a total stranger. This also created a lot of confusion. I don’t trust this department.
