I brought my vehicle in to the shop yesterday and when I got home noticed I had a letter in the mail that my license plate was ready to be picked up in the service department. Is there a reason this was not mentioned to me while I was there? Can this be mailed to me so I don't have to make an additional trip there?

I had an appointment for 2pm for an oil change. I received my car at 3:37pm. Service was great, staff was courteous. Wish it would have been a quicker service since I was told it would expedite my wait time.

Mr. Steven was fantastic. He greeted me very nicely and was understanding. He explained the process for me and got me in the loaner vehicle quickly. Mr. O’Neal was been great too. His calm demeanor and desire to help in any way possible makes me happy. Even seeing him, as a manager, cleaning windows shows how he leads by serving. However, I am not satisfied with how my car has been running. It’s passing all “tests” but it is still not running like it should. I drive it every day a lot for work, so I feel every little thing that’s off. I’ve been inquiring about this issue shortly after I got the car last August. The hesitation with acceleration is unsafe, and I’ve had numerous times when it would jerk forward suddenly to where I nearly rear end the vehicle in front of me. I bought the car, after leasing two other Toyota’s before, because we had a new kid. So safety was the goal. I do not feel that way now and really disappointed. I cannot see myself keeping this car with these issues. If Toyota has any self awareness, they would see that many customers with the 2018 LE is experiencing the same problems. I believe I have done my due diligence to resolve the issue. I feel it is now in Toyota’s hand to meet me in the middle with resolving the issue or swapping it out for another vehicle that works. I’ve driven like model LE’s, SE’s, and XSEs. They all drive different and how my car is supposed to drive. I think that is a big deal. “Dealing with it” how it is for the remainder of my term is not an option for me and it would be unfortunate if this wasn’t resolved and I have to involve my attorney, especially when I’ve only had the vehicle for 8 months. I understand that this may be above the dealer’s head, but I trusted Hampton with this purchase, so if they could liaison with me to corporate to regain my trust in the corporation and product, they would be an accomplishment.
