This is the first time I have my car serviced at this dealer. I have to say that I will never come back or recommend it to anyone. I am very disappointed with the service here. I missed Richard call. I called him back 3 times, called office main line twice (none answered . Only answering machine) sent 2 text messages. It took more than an hour to connect with him. Staff in service department are poor in customer service. They are rush at the end of the day. Overall, customer service is 1 on a scale 1-5 with 1 being most dissatisfied.

Richards’s explanation of the diagnostic process was clear and time estimate was pretty accurate so I’d say I was satisfied with the service. It was also nice to speak with someone who has been around the Bay Area as long as Richard.

It felt that Richard was not really on top of my case, wrong initial quote (great, was lowered from $700 to $200ish), then additional work needed to be done due to a engine light on which I had notified in the appointment request. Richard did not seem to know what the part was needed for which seems odd for someone with his experience, especially when I asked if it could bed cleaned rather than replaced, to which the answer was that new part & labor would be less than labor to clean. For someone who did not seem to know what the part is used for, seemed like a fluke. Besides, the gentleman was obviously irritated that I was asking what I felt were legitimate questions, even if it was obviously the end of the day. We are all entitled to bad days, so that’s ok, but I felt a bit of condescending which could be worked on, even after so many years of experience. Feedback is a gift. Best, Raphaël

A1 service last week was never done. And the oil was empty. And when we filled 2 quart oil and took the car back to get A1 service, they told us the oil tank was overfilled. So the customer was lieing?? We were also asked to drop the car in an emergency after being told they will just take a look - so essentially A1 service was not done in the first place but we were charged for it. We cannot trust Larry Hopkins service anymore

You guys quickly found the problem and promptly fixed it. What more can be better than that? One minor thing. I had to enter the code myself to get the nav/radio to work again. Thanks again for getting my wife's CR-V running again. Looks like we'll be looking at getting a new one soon. It will be our 6th Honda. Almost all from Larry Hopkins.
