Jacqueline was very nice. However, when I arrived I was literally yelled at when I was out of my car and the car in front pulled away. I already had coffee, my purse and a book balanced. The man continued to shout at me to get back in my car. There was too much shouting and yelling going on in the entrance area. The man finally relented and moved my car, but it was was very upsetting. There has to be a more pleasant way of dealing with people especially during the first contact. I’ve been a Hopkins customer for decades.

I had asked to use a coupon from the Larry Hopkins website for a percentage off parts and labor. I had to pre-pay for tires and parts in order to have them for my appt and was told that Service would take care of the discount on both when I came in for the installation. Service did discount for the labor portion but said I would have to go back to Parts for any discount on parts. I had to go back and have another long conversation with Parts where I was initially told nothing could be done because I already paid and there was no way to do a partial refund. Eventually after additional discussions with a Manager and Service, I was able to get a partial refund on some of the parts. It wasn’t a great experience having to cobble together the full cost of the work myself with different departments and then get the runaround with the coupon from your own website.

1. My car’s service said 20% oil, after the service. I had to call service to get that resolved.
2. For battery test, printout was not provided to me. I had to call to get that.
3. Was told by service person that “only have 5 techs working”, before the work started. Thanks for setting expectations, but I dont want this as an excuse if work not completed timely.
4. Felt more like a sale than caring about my business or quality of work being performed on my car.
