Brought truck in for leaking axle seals. Wrong seals were replaced. Leaking axles seals continued leaking. Brought back in again, seals were supposedly fixed this time.Day after the second fix gear oil continues to leak from ends of axle tubes, understandingly there will be some residual drips. The amount leaking is a little excessive, telling me the axle tubes were never cleaned prior to putting axle back together.My street and driveway continue to have accumulating oil in several spots. I’ve been buying and bringing vehicles to Murphy Ford for the better part of 15 years. I’m disappointed in the quality control and execution of getting a vehicle serviced.

I had bought my car back in 2019 and since I had bought the car the sunroof has always leaked. I have taken it back to the dealership multiple times to get the leak fixed and every time they would tell me that they were not able to get it to leak ... so there was nothing to fix... despite the videos and pictures I have taken on many occasions. The last time we took it to the dealership where it has been many times before back Either December 2020 or January 2021, the service department broke the switch panel that works the sunroof, replaced it with the wrong model for my car.. did not tell me until my boyfriend noticed it in February of 2021. We drove to the dealership that day to show the manager, had to fight for them to admit they broke it and tried to cover it up ... then they finally replaced the switch panel but the sunroof was still leaking and not fixed. After that incident my boyfriend and another mechanic friend opened my sunroof and saw the seal was torn and was not fully in tact. We had contacted customer care about the issue and told them we want the sunroof fixed, sent them the pictures of the torn, not fully intact seal to the representative and told her we do not want to go back to that dealership. The representative Ahrayviah Robinson told us to pick a dealership and they would fix it to our satisfaction and to let her know when the appointment was made and she will reach out to them. We picked another dealership, let her know the appointment. I dropped off my car on Monday, May 17, 2021 shown them where it was torn and unattached then explained everything what we have been dealing with the sunroof and that we were working with her and gave them her contact information. At the dealership I was told that I would be charged $149 just to diagnose what the issue was. I told them they will have to contact Ms. Robinson about that. The next day, the dealership called me to tell me for everything it was going to be almost $1000.00 to fix and they would have to hold my car for 5 days to wait for the part and they tried to get ahold of and. Robinson and she failed to reach about out to them, never returned my phone calls, never returned my boyfriends phone calls or emails. I told them she never told us we would be paying out of pocket and contacted customer care to speak to another representative. They continued to tell me my car isn’t covered under a warranty any longer so there is nothing they can do ... even though the issue started when I bought the car when it was under warranty. This battle between customer care and the dealership went on for days. I then told them I want my car back and my boyfriend will fix it and the number they gave us is outrageous but they held my car hostage until we gave them $300 for them to do absolutely nothing. We told them we weren’t paying $300 for them to see what we had already told them what was wrong with the car. They lowered it to $149 to take it unfixed. We were at a loss and couldn’t reach anyone helpful at customer care. I escalated Ms. Robinsons unprofessionalism to her supervisor and tried to reach out to the dealerships manager about this issue. We finally had one representative who got the dealership to at least fix it and just charge us $290 to finally have my car back. We are very disappointed in the unprofessionalism of this company... to not fully train the staff or to hire staff to not throughly look over the issue which was found under 5 minutes from a non ford mechanic. I am disappointed in how Ford treated us all because my car was no longer covered under a warranty they overlooked the fact that I bought the car with this issue and it was all of a sudden not their problem. It blows my mind how a company can treat people so poorly and be so unprofessional. I will never buy or recommend ford to another soul after how this was handled.
