Didn’t even get my vehicle serviced. My appointment was at 8:00 am and at 10::00 it still want even moved. Tried talking to management and the general manager has no class or customer skills at all. I will make sure that I never recommend anyone at all ever

Too long for a simple repair. I had to find a chevy dealer buy the part and bring it to you. Inspection did not mention a coolant leak invoice does. No car appaisal as promised. Not all Dean.

The comment I’m going to give you is complicated. I think Dean tries to do the right thing but somethings wrong with the upper management or the owner because they don’t think of the customer when they make decisions. First I had Carmax coverage and he was Dean was supposed to call them and get my rental car taken care of because I dropped it off on a Friday afternoon at 11 it wasn’t ready until we’re diagnosed until Friday evening, and then it was fixed on Monday morning, the part was considered a special warranty. Teen assumed because it was a special warranty by GMC that Carmax wouldn’t cover the rental car he took that upon himself and he never called in the rental car so I had the rental car for three days Friday Saturday Sunday when I went to turn it back in on Monday I realized to our prize that no rental car was approved. Dean told me two things he told me that well they probably wouldn’t cover it because it’s under GMC warranty and I said well then the dealership should cover the rental car and he said we don’t really do that because during Covid we got rid of all our fleet or rental cars. Which is understandable but for Dean to take on the fact of Carmax won’t cover you and we don’t do rentals anymore I have additional cars for people to take I don’t know what to tell you, so I explained to him let me call Carmax and find out what their stances and I will get back to you so I went in the parking lot and called Carmax come to find out Carmax told me No matter what The car needs to be called in and I could be in trouble and not get my rental car reimbursed for Carmax because I picked up the car and it already returned the rental not realizing any of this had gone down or hadn’t gone down and that he hasn’t he had not called. I would think you don’t keep people hanging without a rental car and I remember when I left that Friday I asked him to please call and make sure when he got the diagnosis to call Carmax but once again I will tell you Dean took it upon himself not to call with the assumption of they just weren’t gonna cover it. On second hand I don’t believe it’s OK for an owner of a dealership to get rid of all of your rental or free cars for your customers and not compensate that through paying for rental cars from enterprise you can’t expect people to drop their cars off and not have anywhere to wait or any way to commute. I will take you back to the first time that I brought it in which was on Thursday a gentleman there told me that if I didn’t have an appointment I could drop it off but they probably wouldn’t be able to see me till the next Wednesday or be able to look at it till next Wednesday I even said to him I can’t go without a car he said well we need to know the diagnosis first which was correct and that’s what Carmax told me Carmax said you at least need to drop it off which I did as I told you in the previous part of this message but he also said well if you make an appointment maybe we can see it in two days so when I got home they had an appointment for Friday the next day at 11 and that’s when I dropped it off at 11:00. So enclosing the repair that needed to be done was a valve that is covered under warranty by Buick and is an extension or called a special warranty as I mentioned how the service advisors do not know that just because they got rid of their cars during Covid and what they just don’t give anybody a rental and if it’s a warranty you’re just screwed you walk home or you find your own way home will you pay for your own rental car that’s not OK and how does the general manager or the owner of the dealership not verbally say to his service advisors if we have a car that’s under our warranty or the car warranty we need to supply them with the rental car and you need to get that set up through enterprise which is just listen to the 10th of a mile down the street. when I went back in and told Dean you need to call this number for Carmax and you need to call the claim in and tell them what the diagnosis code was when I dropped it off when you diagnosed it and when you called me so they can backdate the rental agreement he was very out of sorts he didn’t like that pretty much didn’t like that I was telling him what he needed to do so I can get my rental car covered. I took it off of him and said at least give me the name of the person that can say yes if the rental car does fall back to the dealership so I can speak to somebody who can give me the answer I need. I need to mention one other thing that I don’t understand is I drop my car off in January because I had no air conditioning at that time wherever the service advisor was I said to him can you also check the tapping of my engine it’s not supposed to tap like that and I can hear it it was extremely loud how the person who repaired my car didn’t hear it which I’m sure they did and how they didn’t say that sounds like that valve warranty we have there’s something wrong the engine shouldn’t be tapping like this do you wanna call the customer and ask her if she wants us to look at that because when I found out from being in he looked back on that service in January there was nowhere about my car tapping so when I received it back I thought they looked at it and it was fine well come to find out that’s exactly what the fixed this time. These are operational issues that should come to the general managers attention or whoever wants a service department and they should also come to the attention about the customer service because it’s a pretty much a shoulder shrug by everybody there about what we can have your car in three days maybe two days if you make an appointment and then for Dean to take it on himself to think he doesn’t even need to call cause he knows what he doesn’t know cause he was wrong this time I’m still waiting for an answer but either Carmax need to cut my rental car in a bit what is the warranty like you said on the GMC the GMC dealership needs to cover my rental car because it’s under warranty from them is that what they do when people bring it in under 36,000 miles they just say well sorry we don’t have them anymore because of Covid. I hope you do call Me this needs to be addressed not only for me but for other customers coming through the door. Thank you
