In June I took my Accord to Honda of Kenosha for a full inspection. At this time I performed every service recommended, including a service of the brakes. Upon return of my car I began experiencing a mechanical 'clank' while braking. I scheduled a return visit in August and was told the noise was a normal shift in the brake pads. Though I remain skeptical, I accept that the strange mechanical sound is now a routine part of braking (even though there is no precedent for this in the 9 years I've owned the car... or any other car I've ever owned or rented). Disappointingly, however, both front lower ball joints were found to be bad and the rotors were found to be warped - all needing service. Since only 3000 miles had elapsed since the prior service, I'm left with the conclusion that for-cause inspections at Honda of Kenosha lack thoroughness and a level of quality assurance. It's hard to accept that so many issues would be overlooked in June only to be discovered 3000 miles later.

Could of explained more thoroughly what the recall was for. Didn’t mention the fact of rust to failure or the seriousness of the corrosion. Also didn’t inform me of the details of work done. Also upon inspection there still is massive corrosion on the frame. Is this also serious leading to failure?
