I brought my car in for an oil change and state inspection. Shortly after I dropped it off I got a call that it was all set and ready to pick up. When I went to retrieve my car I was very surprised to see that it failed inspection. I’m not upset it failed but I was a bit annoyed that it was not mentioned when I got the call to get my car. “All set” implied that everyone was ok with the car.
