Mechanic working on my truck stayed on task until the job was completed. Everyone at Clinton Auto Group were friendly and helpful. I thought that adding a light kit to my truck bed was a straight forward job. I found out that this was the first time the mechanic had installed one on a 2024. I thought that this was a two hour job. It turned out to be a three day job. I understand that the mechanic had to call the engineering group at Ram to get instructions and had to wait for their response. My only concern is that I had to call the dealership to get answers. In the future I would appreciate a phone call explaining the delay.

Deductable? And parts ordering by asking for your credit card number before parts are ordered even though your vehicle is in the shop and parts should be ordered and paid for on your work order when you pick your vehicle up. My insurance covered the bill and I was still charged a deductable or diagnostic fee as it was stated to me. WOW! I would love a phone call from management about this!

I am only commenting because when I had called to make the appointment, I had specifically asked about the complimentary oil changes that we received from the manufacturer when we purchased our vehicle last year, wanted to make sure it was known ahead of our appointment that we had 2 free oil changes so there was no surprises when our service was done, even making sure I gave our VIN over the phone so it could be confirmed in the system. The service was completed and I was presented with a bill for the oil change, confused, I asked what the bill was for and was told in a rather condescending manner that it was for the oil change, explained to her that when I made the appointment I had explained that we had 2 free oil changes and thought that would have been noted so not to have this come up, she checked and did say she did see that and nothing was needed. The service was quick and completed effectively just was rather disappointing customer service experience.
