Service advisor was very good. Service technician not so much. Witnessed him try one oil plug wrench that didn't work and throw it at the bench. He walked to the bench and got another. This one seemed to go on the plug as he was pulling it. He got frustrated with that wrench and threw it at the bench. He returned with a socket and got the plug out. I asked the service advisor if he was qualified to do the work and he replied yes and asked me why. I told him what I saw. Service manager overheard and had words with the tech which surely didn't make him any happier. Now I feel I need to take it somewhere else and have it looked over to assure the pissed off tech didn't sabatage anything. The vehicle is a F150 the most common vehicle on the planet,why would he not know which wrench to use? And if the plug was too tight you performed the previous three oil changes. I go to the dealership to avoid these kinds of problems.

Since you ask, I had my car “analyzed” for 130 dollars . I was informed of a 159? dollar part as the issue. With labor 600 dollar plus tax being the bill. After install, this was not the issue. An entire computer NOW is the issue. Bringing my bill to 1600 dollars!! After talking to Todd , NO discount on 600 for what I would consider “ misdiagnosis “. If the diagnosis and subsequent installation of part were adjusted, I would have bought the computer and had a car . As a result I was forced to sacrifice car to satisfy 600 in misdiagnosed work. Now at this time I have no longer a work car. So you can see I’m not really a happy customer.
