Jeffrey was very friendly and courteous from the moment I arrived. He went over what was to be done, and asked if I'd like a complimentary car wash also. He saw that I had enough points on my Ford pass rewards, and asked if I'd like to use them to pay for the service. I was very pleased with his attention to details

I made the appointment and was told one price. Dropped off the vehicle the day before and get a call from Ryan. He verified why my truck is there and asks if I was given a price. He tells me that is wrong and the job takes a lot of time and I know what the work entails and agree. He jacks the price up from the $550 I was told to almost $1k. I pickup the truck and he cannot tell me what is the standard labor time for the job, says he has no price sheet for the 160k service that my truck is due for and acts like it is not necessary to do more than a couple things on the list. I find it odd that he NEVER talked to me over the phone or in person about completing the 160k mile service. He focused only on getting the transmission serviced and “his” price. I am not satisfied. This is about trust. I would like to think that I can trust my local dealership to have fair pricing and policies but, I reached out to my F150 group on Facebook and owners reported they either did the work themselves in a few hours or they had the same service done at their dealer for less than $600. I am ashamed that I did not cancel the work during the phone call but would it have mattered? When I expressed my concerns at pickup, Ryan told me “That’s why I called you! The tech had already started in and I wanted to make sure you knew!” I think Ryan gets a nice big $$ commission on whatever he brings in, how he does it and if it is in the interest of the customer means nothing. I checked my dashcam to verify if the truck was truly in the shop when Ryan called, the footage had been deleted or the camera was disconnected for the duration. The only footage is of the truck idling for 50 minutes. The footage of the truck being brought around by another service writer (Jeff) does not exist either. I cannot trust the Service Department.

As usual, the work completed on my 2015 F150 was done to my complete satisfaction. Darlings service department is, by far, one of the best I have dealt with. I will continue to rely on Darlings for my service needs!
