John was great in the service department! He turned a day in hell around. My car needed to be towed to your shop for repair. I had a Saturday appointment that I was unable to keep, I called to notify you all of the situation and reschedule. The young lady on the phone said you didn’t have any appointments until Friday. After explaining and see what she could do, she then said wait what make is it ford or Infiniti. After telling her it was an Infiniti she stated you all had a Monday appointment. I took the Monday appointment. My original appointment was for oil change, tire rotation, and drive belt replacement. I also notified them my car was now inoperable. Monday comes, my tow truck is running late, So I call the dealership to explain the situation. The young lady tells me, well you have a 15 min grace. Knowing I’m waiting on a tow truck, something out of my control, the empathy was just not there. So I explain the situation and let her know I’ve been trying to get my car there, she stated she would check with the advisors. She comes back to the phone and stated yeah your appointment was only for an oil change and tire rotation so they said don’t bring it. Well when am I supposed to bring it? She started to act as if what was happening was my fault, and explained staffing shortages, which the whole world is dealing with no just y’all. And she continued to informed me how they could garuntee they get to my car today. Okay that’s fine I understand, but after letting her know that she back tracked and kept telling me how I wouldn’t be able to drop it off, and what I “originally scheduled for”, and they being short staffed. i then requested to speak with a manger, which then she explained the same thing like a record on replay. I then explained that was fine, I’m a pretty understanding person, I really don’t care if you get to my car today or not. I say all of this to say, listening is very important. All I wanted this whole interaction was to just get my car there. The world is dealing with staff shortage everywhere, but by not listening and asking questions this lead to a not so pleasant experience. Once the car was finally there John took really good car of me, even magically got my car back to me the same day.
