Tony was terrific. Honda has an annoying problem with updates getting shut down forever that technicians can’t simply fix and it has driven me nuts twice now. I’ve bought 6 Hondas at this wonderful dealership and 3 elsewhere in the past 30 years and I’ve never encountered a problem as vexing to both the owner and the mechanics. I guess my next step is to write to America Honda

Ivette was helpful when I dropped the car off and I was very excited to get more air conditioning fixed under the extended warranty. The condenser on my Honda civic was leaking and the AC has never worked properly since I bought the car 5 months ago. I was willing to deal with it, but my friend brought her Honda Civic in and they fixed it for free because the faulty part was poor design and most of them leaked so there was an extended warranty to fix the design flaw. I brought it in to get fixed because everyone told me it would be free if it qualified for the warranty. Before I Purchase the car, it was in an accident and apparently the condenser was bent (unknown to me). This voided the warranty so even though it was a faulty design before I purchased the car and the previous owner got in an accident, the part would have not worked properly. Because the condenser was slightly bent (again unknown to me) it would have cost well over $1,000 to fix which I do not have. So I was expecting to have my air conditioning fixed and taken care of because Honda recognized it was the right thing to do hence the extended warranty because of the design flaw and instead got stuck with an overprice diagnostic fee of $170 to tell me my AC wasn’t working which I already knew. If I knew I was going to have to pay $170 for absolutely nothing done to the car except letting out any remaining Freon I had in there (the AC seemed even worse after I got it back because I believed they emptied it for the test) I would have never brought it in. So overall I went without my car for hours expecting a working AC and was charged $170 for an overpriced diagnostic. It was a miserable experience. I understand this was no Ivette’s fault but it was a huge disappointment. The was really looking forward to writing a positive review on yelp and google but now I cannot write one or I may be forced to leave a negative review to give my honest account on what actually happened. I have not decided yet. But the short version is I lost hours of my day and had to pay $170 to tell me that my AC was not workIng which I already knew. Had I known that, I would have never brought the car in. Again I understand this is not Evette’s fault she was helpful when I dropped the car off, but I am definitely a dissatisfied customer and will probably never come back to Norm Reeves Honda unfortunately
