Steve was very patient with me in explaining the issues with my car’s A/C. He went ahead and reached out to Honda America if they can provide some help as the cost to fix was high to replace the evaporator. Unfortunately they did not extend any help. Norm Reeves provided some discount but I think Honda America should have issued a recall or Service Bulletin since based on my research this is a known issue.

I am very disappointed that I came into the dealership stating what was wrong with my vehicle and told it would cost 360.00 to confirm and can go towards the cost of repair. I was later called and told it would take another 360.00 or so to tell me the cost to fix the vehicle A/C. Therafter, I was told it was 3,427 for the repair. The repair was A/C compressor which I stated was out orginally since I had taken my vehicle elsewhere and they told me that was what was wrong with it and I told the service worker. I was not in agreement with the repair amount since I never heard of such an amount for A/C to work, however, it would cost me 733.45 to pick up my car with no work done. This was outragious when I was never given the amount upfront how much it was to fix when they are a Honda dealership. I spoke to a manager and she had the service worker call me back with the amount of 2673.00 to fix or 610.00 to pick up. I asked if the 10% coupon still be applied since this was way past the cost expected for fixing an A/C. They said that it was already reduced and coupon would not be applied (however, the pricing would have been reduced by 340 with the coupon given the original amount...so they lowered it 414, claiming they lowered in parts and cost of labor). I am very disappointed and feel strong armed to throw away 610.00 or fix at an overrated cost. If I had gone in with the problem I should have been told the cost upfront not after occurring 610.00. If I was told it was more than 1,500, which I was told 3427 and later reduced to 2573, I would have never agreed to the service. I am not planning to return to this dealership. I have bought two cars here and get 75 perfect of service done for two of vehicles at this location but this is the first time I felt they were just taking money for themselves, the service person and mechanic. I understand this is a business and the idea is to make money but the trust is gone with this location. They have their pocket book 1st and don't even give a ballpark price. This is to bad since I have to purchase two more vehicles soon (I have a 14 and 16 year old, who will be driving). I hope management looks at the way the service department works because it will impact business for the whole company.

Check-in at the drive thru was quick! Rossano was very friendly & thorough! He apologized for having to wait a little longer that day which I appreciated. Since the wait was going to be a bit longer than I had anticipated & I hadn’t eaten, I bought a bag of chips from the inside store. I was waiting in line & another worker who was clearly working on something else because he had product on his counter, asked me to come over to him & he checked me out. I thanked him for doing that! Without asking, one of the team members seen me just standing outside about 20min before the time I was given for completion of my oil change, asked my name & went to check on the status of my vehicle. He came back and said they were finishing up, only had about 5 min left. He then asked me to come inside to complete the transaction so when my car was done I could just leave. I told him thank you and I appreciated him doing what he did. Literally within 2min of walking back outside my car drove up! The member that brought my car up held my door open for me, closed it after I was in & told ME thank you & to have a great weekend! That was so nice and unexpected! While waiting I was seeing every single team member from all departments constantly moving around; either talking with customers/potential customers, checking customers in/out, down to someone organizing the magnetic numbers cart for service check in. Seeing that everyone was actually working made waiting a bit longer with it! After I said bye & thank you when I was leaving, I literally thought to myself, “How awesome was that?! Everyone I dealt with or seen today was super friendly & working hard!” I’d recommend Norm Reeves Cerritos over & over again to everyone & anyone!! Thanks again to ALL TEAM MEMBERS that worked that day!
