Once I left I noticed my car started making a weird noise. The care wasn’t making this noise prior to taking it in so I’m a bit caught off guard since I’ve never had this issue before.

When I set up the appointment I was given an estimate of 2-3 hours. When I arrive at 10am, I was told 2.5 hours and that at the latest my car would be ready by 1pm. After 3.5 hours, I asked for a status on my car and was told they would check and let me know. 20 minutes later, I was told my car would be ready in about 20 minutes. An hour after that, I went to ask for status of my car again and could not find the person who helped me. Someone else checked and said that they are holding my car because my person did not send me a link to review the recommendations on my car. At that point, I had been at the dealership for 5 hours.

Curious as to why appointments are provided when the service advisor puts 4pm as an estimated completion time. I had an appointment at 10:30AM on Saturday, 2/1 and the car wasn’t finished until 4PM. When I scheduled service online, I noted that I would wait at the dealership. Is it acceptable for clients to wait 5 hours for their car?

I now drive from Escondido to the dealer Rosalina is at in mission gorge because of the excellent service I receive there vs all the poorly rated dealers and shop up north that are regularly reported for stealing trd air filters among other things and price gouging. Give her a raise and the rest of the service team too because they actually like their jobs enough to do them well.

We had a confirmed 0900 appointment for a recall that was estimated to take one to two hours. We released the car to John Bautista, who was unprepared to accept the car, stating we could get a rental for a couple days. When assured of our appointment, he received our vehicle at about 0945 and stated it would be ready between 13 & 1400. We were not updated until 1512, after we called at 1501. Another estimated 30 minutes, and the vehicle was not ready. Mr. Bautista asked if we had gotten a call to pick up the car. We picked it up just after 1600. Would appreciate preparation and the initiative to communicate delays, as indicated in the opening SMS text.
