After all these years of bringing my car for service, a technician decides my front drivers mat (that came from Toyota factory direct) can’t be put on correctly and put it in the back of suv. But they left black shoe marks all over my carpet and entry to driver side. As well as scratches on my steering wheel. I was also disappointed that the service advisor, John could not work with me to replace my tire with a nail in it in a satisfactory manner. I offered to buy a full set of tires from Toyota as I have in the past if Toyota could honor the 3 for 1 spring deal that would be coming. This was not possible and I was being encouraged to not use my spare which I had to point out was a full use tire. In the end I said to put spare on and I will now go somewhere else to replace all 4. I will only bring my car in the future for service if my usual advisor, Javier is available.

After being told a pricey repair was needed, we requested the mechanic show us the problem. The car was off the lift and if we authorized the repair parts would need to be ordered. We requested the parts be ordered and scheduled the repair at a time the mechanic could have the car on a lift to show us. This is all in process. Iin the future I will let the service advisor know if a pricy repair is recommended we want to SEE the problem before authorizing the repair. I hope this makes sense.

I have one question, I was due for my car’s 5000 miles oil change but it was not done, I asked the lady adviser and she said that it is due in 10,000 miles which they put sometime in August whichever comes first
I received an e-mail that my car is due for maintenance
Since I am already there for my appointment, I mentioned some stuff that I noticed to my car, which was taken care of
If I will wait until August then it is going to be 15,000 miles already
