Robert provided an excellent service experience at Norm Reeves Toyota. He communicated often and clearly and was extremely accommodating. His team completed all services faster than estimated and he went above and beyond to make sure he was helping any way possible. Provided info on options for ride share and rentals, worked with me on scheduling unexpected service needs and went out of his way to work with me on the financial side of needed services. My experience with Norm Reeves has always been good which is why it is my preferred location for maintenance and services but my most recent experience with Robert as the supervisor surpassed already high expectations at Norm Reeves. I took my Prius in as it wouldn’t start and I had to jump it to get it there. I was charged $189 for analysis. One of the battery terminals wasn’t tight and the mechanic just tightened it. That was it $189.
Then the next day when my friend got in my car she saw a battery charger a mechanic left in my car. I returned it to Norm Toyota. They offered me a free oil change for compensation. I said how about $189? The manager gave me half. I think I should have got it all back. I’m just saying.

I had scheduled a service to get my windshield nicks filled in and whoever I spoke to that scheduled my appointment on Monday originally said come in Tuesday 10 am. She then called me back five minutes later and said I just spoke to Luis the windshield guy that is from outside of Toyota that handles windshield care and he isn’t available Tuesday and to come in at 8 am Wednesday instead because he is available then. I showed up at 8 am this morning and the service department said I needed to have a separate appointment with the windshield guy Luis already booked and I said yes I do have it booked already. They tell me he isn’t there and he isn’t answering and we don’t know when he’ll be in so your car might be here all day. He didn’t come in until 9ish I think? But that’s because I called the service center to see at around 9:15 am if my car was being worked on, but the entire time I wasn’t aware or receiving any updates on my service and Toyota didn’t even offer me a ride home (when I’ve had Ubers called for me before from Toyota lemon grove before so I know it’s a thing most Toyotas service centers offer) so I had to have somebody pick me up. I was without my car from 8 am - 12 pm and apart from that, I left a message (both text and voicemail) to the service team manager and he did not get back to me. Really sad about the disorganization and lack of care I received while getting something worked on today.
