I came in because the air bag light was on. Jessica informed Me that a full diagnostic check would have to be performed to determine why the light is on. I agreed to pay but no results were made.  Instead, I was going to be charged an additional $400.00 to do a further diagnosis. In the past, I brought my car in due to a air bag recall. Now the light comes on and I'm expected to pay over $600.00 with no service and no garauntee that the air bags work. This is a matter of safety that initiated as a manufacturer defect that I'm still paying for. Why!

I am upset, tho, because I had to pay for an expection that couldn't fix the issue. I was told I needed to go to a body shop. I should have been told this so I could save this cost. Will the dealership apply this cost when I bring it in to the body shop?

A few mishaps happened this visit. My appointment was at 10:00. I was told to wait across from the service garage without any communication as to why. It was 5 minutes past my appointment time so I got out of my car and asked what was going on and if I had to reschedule because now we’re past my scheduled time. They had me pull forward at that point. I took the shuttle to do some errands. The shuttle told me he’d be on lunch from 12-1. I tried calling the dealership several times and could not get a hold of anyone except for via text which was very spotty. I had somewhere to be at 3:30 and I finally got picked up around 2:45. Almost 3 hours for an oil change? There were other recommended services but because I couldn’t get a hold of anyone on the phone to actually explain these to me, I declined. You lost out on about $700 of extras because of no phones. I explained my frustration to the service advisor who completed my transaction—who was not my normal service advisor, nor the service advisor that helped me earlier in the day. He then pulled out the book and explained what services they were recommending. Had someone done this earlier in the day, I could have had these things taken care of but I was out of time. I travel from Escondido to your service center because normally things go very smoothly, my service advisor advises me properly and I think your prices are more fair than the one closest to me. I know we all have off days but yesterday was an all around bad experience.

I wanted to let the manager know that I had a negative experience with one of your employees in the service department. His name is Richard. He’s a heavier set gentleman. I had an appointment this morning at 8 AM and the girl who checked my car in she said it would be about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes wait, which is completely fine, I was waiting in the lobby and it was 10 o’clock so two hours had passed and so I decided to go into the Service area to ask for a status on my car. I just walked up to the first person I saw standing at a desk he was standing there not on the phone and I just said excuse me, sir I was hoping to get a status on my car and he said very dismissively you need to go find your service advisor and ask for that and was just completely unhelpful and rude about it. I didn’t know the process and like I said he was the first person I came in contact with so for him to be so rude was disappointing not only the two hour wait but then, his attitude just made things worse. I just moved to Talmage and your dealership is the closest to my home however, I’m not sure if I want to come back to your location. Very respectfully Elena L
