Went for my 15000 maintenance check and was told my cabin filter needed
Changing and cost would be 2695.95!!! I declined I was sent another msg stating that I really needed to have the cabin filter changed this time I sent them what a filter change should cost per google in the mist of all that spoke with service rep to further let her know that I had the Toyota care package she stated that I did not and that the filter was not covered and that it would cost 75.95 but I’m covered and it should have been free. I’m covered at 10000 and 20000 miles for the filters they could have just said when you reach 20000 miles bring your car back and we will replace the filter instead I was told I was not covered and they don’t cover filters period!!! I just felt I was being taken for the money.. I also called the dealership in which I bought the vehicle and they stated you guys should have just told me to bring the car back at 20000 miles. I also called Toyota corp. and they stated the same thing that you guys should have just said bring the car back at 20000 and replaced the filter instead of taking my money. Also Toyota corp stated that you guys didn’t bother about looking up to see that I was covered. I’m just feeling some kind of way!!!!

2. I was not aware to look for a text for additional services, so I waited for over an hour before realizing that I needed additional services. Recommend someone calling.
3. I thought Toyota care covered more than it did. A little disappointing and I probably would not buy it again if I bought a new car.

Luis Marquez and Travis Brierton were outstanding in assisting me today. I had concerns about potentially buying a 2012 Toyota Corolla from CarMax and they did an amazing job with the used vehicle inspection and communicated the findings in a clear and easy way to help me make an informed decision. Both Luis and Travis provided valuable insights on initial inspection and Travis uncovered some safety issues. Luis showed me the photos and went over the report with me, answering all my questions. Luis also provided me with additional copies of the findings to take back to CarMax for them to review and repair, saving me some time and hassle. Luis provided me with everything that I needed (and the extra printout and information I didn't know I needed) and had everything ready for me when I went to his station after the inspection.
Additionally, I want to point out one of the employees that I spoke with when I dropped off the vehicle and when I picked it up. I don't remember his name, so I am going to say it was Ferocious Brown (sorry man, your name was fierce and I wish I could recall it, but I'll find out next time I am in). We were discussing older vehicles, maintenance, and care, and he shared some of his experience with his personal vehicle. He is also super professional and easy to talk with. I learned a lot today from these three employees, and had a good time during the entire appointment.

When I booked appointment for 30000 service the website quoted 225, on check in I was quoted 368, very frustrating. I was told I would be given a parts discount but a different person checked me out and I forgot to ask. Also found another problem throttle built up for another 199, didn’t approve for this visit but was told common at 30000, also not mentioned at check in. All in all felt like a visit full of miscommunication and misleading cost representation

Was charged $190.00 and told there was oil on the lower part of my engine and they cleaned it and put dye on it so I could come back after driving 1000 miles to see where oil is leaking. And I was charged for the dye.
