The service rep did the video walk around my Sequoia and must not have realized that audio is recorded as well and said “I would never buy one of these.” That would be a misrepresentation of the brand and it also made me feel upset that a Toyota rep would ever make a comment like that. I also saved the recording as my intentions were to speak to the supervisor but didn’t feel like wasting my time and it not go anywhere. I would feel ashamed if I was the owner of this company. Clearly the rep is only there for a paycheck. I take great pride in the work that I do and my accomplishments. This guy was an embarrassment to the Toyota company.

In general, my experience was okay. At first, I thought the service advisor was trying to trick me into getting another 150,000 mile service. I refused it and got an oil change. It took an hour and a half which I think is too long. ( I deliberately get the first appointment of the day in order to get my service done quickly. It doesn't take that long to do an oil change!) Also I told him to not do a tire rotation because I just got new tires 4 days prior. They did a tire rotation anyway. When I got home, I checked my service history online. My 150,000 mile service was not documented. I had the invoice so I manually entered it. Why was it not documented??? Hopefully Tuesday's service will be documented. I plan on checking by the end of the week!! Please document service correctly. It is important and I was almost tricked into spending another $1700 on a service that I didn't need. Please do better!!
