And while I was waiting, I saw her very calmly and politely deal with a guy that was being a real jerk. I personally would have handed him his keys back and showed him the door. Had Alignment check and corrections performed as a result of tire wear check during oil change “Works” service. Yes “Satisfied”, however, I don’t understand how the abnormal tire wear (such that tire rotation was refused) was not detected during a prior service (every 5,000 miles)? Only Ford is handling this maintenance since it was new. . I had to spend $869 for new tires before Ford would align my truck. I had 1/4 tire tread left to use. At $869 per set of tires, that’s nearly $200 I lose. I’m retired, no RV trailer, no hauling, no towing, etc. sits in driveway. I don’t get it.
HOW COULD I AVOID THIS IN THE FUTURE??

Not the service reps fault, I had a low tire on my 2019 Escape and it took over 24 hours to replace the tire. I purposefully lease a new car every three years in order to avoid car issues. While a tire is beyond control, the fact that they are not readily available is unexcuseable. I had to rent a car yesterday, additional expense that shouldn't have to be.
