When service was completed and my 2013 Prius was delivered to the departure area, I was unable to shift into “drive”. The shift knob was “fluid” only able to slide side to side, but would not engage into “drive”. I turned the engine off and started the car again and this did not solve the problem. I called for help, and a young lady came over who was checking cars in for service. She witnesses the problem, and proceeded to turn the car off and after restarting, it went into gear. When Sean (service advisor) appeared, she told him There was a problem and she restarted the car and it was fine now. I felt she completely ignored the fact that I had done the same thing, and never questioned that maybe there was a further problem, There was no further attempt to explain the cause of the problem, nor reassure me the car was fine, and I drove away feeling insecure; wondering if the car was safe to drive. It was not a comfortable feeling as I drove onto the freeway. After I got home, I restarted the car with no subsequent problems. I wish someone would have suggested the reason for such a problem and honoring my plight rather than ignoring the cause and making light of it.

I had a bad experience back in 2018, opted for another dealership. Only returned to Roseville because the other dealership just didn't work within my time frame. I received a reference for an advisor to hopefully have a better experience. I was able to get a next day appt. With the recommended advisor(who actually called me later to confirm appt.)AND this is what happened: I arrive. Check in goes ok until the advisor I had appt. With is not there. I get sent to someone else. Fine. He tells me I don't have an appt. FUNNY bc I received an appt. Reminder vis text-see pic. I am then told I don't need an oil change thats not for another 5k. Yet when I called, I was told otherwise. Why else would I come in. So apparently its for a tire rotation. I get asked about a carwash and I say yes. As you can see from pics, it doesn't look like I got one. And if I did, it looks like they didn't dry it and a bunch of dust flew on it. Has anyone else had a bad experience? And my husband asks why I drive out of town to get my car serviced. For this exact reason. Same thing happened to me last time.

My car wasn’t fully ready when I arrived and the gentleman who checkedquoted me the rates etc didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. Everything else was ok, but not my typical Toyota experience. Especially if I’m paying so much for its service
