I requested a weekend appointment on the day when discounts are offered on parts because I needed a filter. The scheduler has someone call with information. I called the parts dept. to verify. When I brought the car in service advisor hadn’t been informed of the discount so it had to be verified AGAIN.
When I asked her what the charge was prior to discount she said “it isn’t shown that way on the bill.” I was unsatisfied with the answer so went to the Parts Dept. where the counter person said I hadn’t been given the promised discount according to the bill I was given. Nobody could provide the normal charge so that I coumd easily determine if the discount had been applied. CTbe parts employee, Joe, went to the service advisor who was able to provide the retail price, tax, and discount. I am dismayed that such a simple question couldn’t be answered easily, how many times I had to confirm that I was being given the promised discount, and the incredible lack of communication between departments.
To their credit Roseville Toyota is unfailingly pleasant and seems to try diligently to please customers. They are missing a night however. It’s communication.
