HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Was told over the phone the day before that my appointment should take no more than 2 hours. So I strategically placed my appointment at 145pm knowing I had other appointments afterwards.
I confirmed in person with my service person that it would take no more than 2 hours.
I got a shuttle to ikea/Costco at 2pm and told the driver (Pablo) I would be no more than 1 hour. I requested my pickup at exactly 3pm. My estimated pickup showed 330pm. It got close to 4pm so I started panicking. I checked the link I was sent and it shows I should be picked up at 435pm?! I immediately call the MKB phone #, ask the lady where my driver is and she tells me the guy is “all the way across town and to please wait.” I asked for the status of my car and she says it’s not done! So much for the 2 hours max! I told her I would schedule a lyft and expect to be reimbursed for it (which thankfully I was).
During that time I tried calling and texting my service rep, and he doesn’t even answer the phone call. And of the 5 texts I sent him asking him questions, he only responds ONCE! Why give me your business card and tell me that if I need anything or have any questions to reach out and call or text if you’re not even going to fully respond?!
On my way back to the dealership, my service rep finally calls me back asking if I need a ride. I tell him no I’m almost back and I asked him to confirm if my driver was at the dealership and if my car seat was there. He says YES.
I get to the dealership and my car still isn’t ready. My car wasn’t ready until about 445pm...3 HOURS!! Why tell me it’ll be 2 hours max, when it took you 3 hours!! I’d understand if it was one person who told me that, but it was 2 separate people who quoted me 2 hours!! I have things to and places to be on a strict time schedule. You guys wasted my time and ruined the rest of what I had planned for the rest of the day.
On top of all that, MY CAR SEAT WASN’T THERE!
Again, my service rep LIED TO ME.
I appreciate the help of the manager in the red shirt, for reimbursing me for my lyft ride, for apologizing and trying to expedite the completely of my vehicles service, and for trying to get a hold of my shuttle driver.
But I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING LIED TO!
While I was waiting for my car seat, another service rep approached me and asked if everything was ok, and if he could do anything. My apologies to him if I was rude or short with him, but I commend him on trying to ease the situation at hand. He even said to look him up next time and he would try to make my next experience a better one.
Back to my horrible current service rep. I called him on his phone # to ask him where my car seat was. He approached my car and asked if I was calling him. I asked him were you the one that called me when I was on my way here asking if I still needed the shuttle. He said YES. I then asked him why he told me that the car seat was here waiting for me when in fact it wasn’t. He BACKPEDDLED and said oh no that wasn’t me. HOW ARE YOU GONA LIE TO ME IN THE FACE LIKE THAT?! I CALLED YOU ON YOUR CALL PHONE, YOU JUST APPROACHED ME AND ASKED WHY I WAS CALLING YOU, YOU JUST SAID YES I DID CALL YOU, BUT NOW ITS NO?!!!
This guy is a serious piece of work. Please do something to either get rid of him, demote him to washing cars or re-train him to be more customer friendly.
Also, how are you guys gona tell customers a specific time frame (no more than 2 hours) and not adhere to that??? I understand things can take longer than expected, BUT THEN DONT TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS “OH YEA ITLL HE NO MORE THAN 2 HOURS.” People have schedules and time restraints to follow, and you guys just completely screwed up my day yesterday.
Lastly, how you going to bump your closest and quickest shuttle ride (ME) and chose to serve another customer and drive them “across town.” That decision by the shuttle time was absolutely horrible. My original pick up time after I scheduled the pickup at 3pm, showed a 330pm eta, but then I get bumped and then have to wait not just 30 minutes, but a WHOLE TWO HOURS LONGER!!
I digress and am just rambling now.
Ultimately I am very unsatisfied and pissed off about the whole situation. Thanks again to the manager in the red shirt, and the random service agent with the slick/combed back dark hard that tried to make my situation better. And a BIG thumbs down to my service agent JARED JONSSON. I will be writing more reviews on google, yelp, bbb, Facebook etc about his service, and the service of my shuttle driver, PABLO. I urge you guys to do something about them ASAP.
