This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with the service I’ve received at Norm Reeves West Covina. My previous experiences were always great which is why I keep coming back, but yesterday’s experience was very disappointing. I brought in my Pilot for an oil change and tire rotation. I let Jessica know that while changing the bulb to my headlights, I dropped the bulb and so I asked that they keep an eye out for the bulb because my car was making a sound it wasn’t making before. She said she would let the technician know. I got a call a few hours later that my car was ready so I left work to pick it up. No mention of the bulb when I picked up the car and I noticed the sound on my drive back to work. I called back yesterday to speak to Jessica and was told by Isabelle that Jessica was not at her desk but was still there so Isabelle would send her an email to call me. I received no call back. I called back today and spoke with Christina who was very helpful. She said she saw no messages but would send Jessica and her manager an email to follow up. I also reviewed the multi-inspection report and had an issue with some of the findings. It was recommended that I change my spark plugs, but my spark plugs were just changed last month. So how can that be? Did the technician actually look at my car or pull the report from my last visit? All around my experience was horrible!

Anthony was great and service was good once I got checked in. It is crazy to have to wait over 40 minutes to get checked in...especially when you're going to leave the car. The checkin process needs to be streamlined. Maybe a separate line for those who are leaving their car so they can go home or to work...plus more employees working at checkin during the morning rush. I'm very glad my 91 year old mother didn't bring her own car and that I did it for her and walked home. She would have been quite uncomfortable waiting that long and probably pretty upset!

I checked my car in at 3:45 PM and I stated that I was going to wait for it since it was just an oil and tire rotation. I then proceeded to go to the sales area and wait in the far corner with the windows are located. nearest to the service drive. About 430 I noticed a white Honda Accord being parked in the lane and it caught my attention because whoever was parking, the car ran over a cone that was in the service drive. I waited patiently, but did not think that was my car because I wasn’t notified that it was ready. Didn’t receive a tax service advisor did not walk over none of that was done. I assumed it was not my car and waited patiently, and as the time passed, and I waited patiently at 5:35 I decided to go ask what was going on with my car. The advisor who checked me in was with a customer did not acknowledge me or let me know that he would be right with me completely ignored me. At which point I asked another member to help me out I explain to him that why haven’t nobody notified me if my car had been done an hour and 15 minutes he did not really have an answer for me which I understand I’m not his customer, but I asked for a service manager which the manager was gone. I called the service manager today and have not heard back. I have continuously purchased cars from your location and continue to take my car there for service because normally I have no issues. I felt as though I was not important because I was merely getting an oil change and not spending hundreds of dollars when I finally drove off in my car, I was about 10 minutes away from the dealer when I received the text from my service advisor stating that my car was now ready which made no sense because I had already left. The whole experience was terrible and very disappointing. I was not able to speak to a manager and attempted to call today with no luck.

I went in for a recall issue and mentioned that the last time I came to the dealership I had a lot of work done on the car But As soon as I left the dealership a rattling noise started occurring under my hood.
I wasn’t able to bring it in because soon after I became very ill. I explained that to the Honda representative but then he rudely commented that “you couldn’t make it back to the dealership sooner”. I told him no I couldn’t and reminded him I said I had gotten ill.
Not that I need to explain but I became so ill I was off work for a month and I wasn’t driving anywhere. Then my mother’s cancer worsen. Then I became ill again followed by the holidays.
I had assumed the whoever worked on my car didn’t tightened something so I wasn’t too concerned.
After my conversation with the representative, another customer pulled me aside and said he had brought in 3 separate cars and all 3 of his cars were worked on there and all 3 his cars had issues with the mechanic not putting all the screws back (and coincidentally all the screws were the ones that were in hard to reach areas).
I am usually pretty tolerable but I was pretty offended.
