Everyone I encountered was perfectly friendly however I hope this feedback will help with improving this experience for future customers. 1. When the representative came to my home to basically hunt my CRV down for the airbag recall, I was pretty impressed by the persistence of Honda to make sure all cars have been fixed to ensure safety, and I felt guilty to have ignored many recall notices. I wish the representative could have just quickly informed me that a weekend appointment could be upwards of 2.5 or more hours due to high volume, I could’ve made appropriate transportation needs without worrying. 2. When I arrived at the dealer, there was a massive line, but I understand it’s the weekend. Anthony greeted me after about 20 minutes of me sitting in my car in the sun, and brought me inside for paperwork. At that point i asked for a time estimate, and he informed me of the 2.5 or more hours. Luckily my husband was home and I was able to get a ride. This could’ve been communicated far in advance. 3. The biggest disappointment was when I came back to pick up my car around 5pm. Anthony quickly got my paperwork ready and radio-ed for my car and said it’ll be out shortly, so I sat outside to wait. There weren’t very many cars left in the service area, and only 2 other people on the benches waiting for something. 5 minutes go by, no big deal, 10 minutes go by, maybe they’re caught up on something. I see Anthony going back and forth and even come outside, so he can see me throughout this entire process, I’m not sitting in a hidden corner by any means. 15 minutes go by, I’m getting frustrated as I can hear a worker in the service station yell to someone “I haven’t taken a sh*t since last time I’ve been in the break room”. It’s really fine if you need to talk about your bowel movement, I don’t actually mind but it added to my frustration. So I finally went back inside and asked Anthony if he forgot about me. He seemed to be caught off guard understandably, which is maybe why after he ruffled around his papers to then ask me “do you happen to have your keys?” I said “no, you guys have my keys”. He radio-ed for my car again and apologized. and I thanked him then waited outside. My car came out within 30 seconds. I felt the need to share my story, because I believe everyone can learn from these anecdotal examples. My frustration could’ve easily been avoided if ANY of the workers (especially Anthony) had paid attention to someone just waiting. I hope this will help in improving your service quality and educating your workers.
