Omar was very attentive, called to male sure we were ok and had a ride to the dealership to pick up the car. Let me know the cost up front and get verbal acknowledgment of the cost of key replacement. Then when he realized the key would be more expensive because it was push start he texted the updated price to make sure I was ok with it. The only issue is, in all this communication he failed to mention that $50 of the total cost would be for “emergency” key. If I had been told this I would have said we could wait for they key, it wasn’t an emergency. We’re in town for a few days and head family arrive (which is why I didn’t ultimately need the Lyft to get to the service center). When someone is paying that much to replace a car key and you want to give good service by making it clear the toys cost, please don’t forget to mention the actual cost breakdown. Even if the additional emergency cost is always tacked on, it would have been pertinent to be told about it.
