An item that was under warranty 2 years ago was worked on by your service department. I let the service person who checked me in know on the phone days before the appointment and the day of the appointment, know why I was bringing it in for service. I checked in and your shuttle took me to work. An hour later I was called by your service tech and they said they did not have the part to fix the problem, they had to order it. I came to pick up my unfixed car and had a problem due to the gate being locked and couldn’t get my car. After about 30 minutes of waiting, someone was found with the key and opens the gate so I got my car. A week later you called that the part was in so I set another appointment and came in again and you fixed the issue, you said. The passenger airbag warning light was no longer light. The next day the light was back on. Needless to say I was not overly confident with the competence of you service staff so I never took it back. Two years later I bring it back for 2 unrelated recall issues and I asked about the warning light still flashing, and they said it was no longer under warranty due to me waiting too long that is would cost $150 to do a complete inspection to determine what the cause was. You already did the inspection the first time and already supposedly replaced the part that was supposed to fix the issue. This is why people hate taking their car in for service, and why people don’t bring their cars back in timely due to having to deal with this ****.

It took an hour longer than I was told it would take. Also I asked to have the weather stripping on the driver’s side rear door to be re-attaches and it didn’t get done.????

Mr. Toro was nice and courteous. He helped translate my description of the issues I had with my car in a way that the techs would understand. Then he simplified and explained what was needed in my car in a way I could understand. It’s a stressful experience for me taking my car for service, mainly for fear of being taken advantage of.
