The window tent removal left marks that look like scraping. It really worried but but after much rubbing it come off. I really feel they should have cleaned the window to avoid this issue.

He was there from 8:30-7pm. He was being told that things were complete and they weren't . I asked to have my brakes checked due to skipping and sliding on wet and dry surface but instead of them being checked we were told I needed a brake flush and that might fix the issue. I have a service warranty that came with the purchase of my vehicle and service department doesn't seem to know what's included in that warranty. The service department should have some knowledge of what's included in the service warranty on new vehicles. I had a free complete detail and my vehicle was not washed completely and the inside was half detailed.

This entire car buying experience was like an episode of national lampoons something. Whatever could go wrong did go wrong.
However, here are the positives I have to note regarding Justin and the team at Van.
Josh our sales person is a hustler in the best depiction of the word. I don’t think I ever saw him stop moving or take a drink of water.
- when we could not take my car home that night or get it Monday due to technology failures of the Hyundai website and iPad, they delivered my cat to me and Josh took the time to set up my Hyundai app for the new car.
Justin was consistent in one thing… communication! He pulled no punches and kept us updated routinely as the one site process unfolded. We were exhausted people worried about our dogs who had been left at home for 13 hours. Justin met every frustration with grace.
Our Financing manager whose name I cannot recall was a treasure. This is usually one of the grossest processes but he was super fast, very informative and FUN!
No one likes the process of buying a car but this team could not have been more than patient, up front, hard working and just plain nice.

Phil was very good. Our dissatisfaction came from equipment breakdowns in the shop causing our repairs to taken an extended period of time.
Also, neither of the cars we brought in for service was washed.

Writing this review on behalf on both Huffines Plano and Van Hyundai locations.
Had a terrible experience at the Huffines Plano location dealing with my service advisor Alfred who tried to convince me that my engine had no oil when I had my Veloster towed to that location. Quoted me nearly $7000 to fix an issue that I believed was not the reason that Huffines Plano believed it was. If possible, I would like to be contacted by the Dealership Manager (Roosevelt May?)at the Huffines Location as he keeps ignoring my calls and I have left messages for him to call me back.
Van Hyundai looked into the matter and through months of waiting and checking the vehicle, realized that it was not an oil-related issue that Huffines Plano believed it was and that it was actually campaign recall related. Was overall satisfied with the end result of having a vehicle working correctly now. Phil at the Van Hyundai location was able to contact me and keep me posted for when the vehicle was ready to be picked up and Mr. Tucker had given me his personal work number to stay in contact which I really did appreciate at the time. The service advisors are much better of understanding the issues that a customer are going through at Van Hyundai than the ones at Huffines who really couldn’t care less and are not very helpful.I would mention though that I wish the experience was faster and waited more than I thought was kinda a long period of time on obtaining a vehicle rental. I understand there is a short staffed issue and fleet shortage issue but wish I had been more involved with the rental sooner and was unable to successfully get in contact with Van Hyundai on occasions and had to drive up there in person due to the short staffed issues and the dealership being too busy with limited staff to call me back. In the end, after waiting many months, my car has a brand new engine and runs perfectly and pray that no more issues will come up with the Veloster anytime soon. Overall, the experience was lengthy and there were many people involved in repairing this vehicle and it was a very stressful time wondering if I would have to pay out of pocket to see if I had to get my engine swapped but fortunately it all worked out in the end and didn’t have to pay out of pocket. Only thing I would make a comment on would be the several months it took to have the issue resolved. Please Hyundai Corporate, hire more staff at a decent wage at the Van Hyundai location so they are able to take care of their customers in a timely fashion and are able to communicate faster with their customers.
Overall, Van Hyundai got my vehicle taken care of in the end which is way more than what I could say what happened at the Huffines Plano location.

My sister and I take our Santa Fe’s to Van. Somehow our cell numbers and email addresses have been reversed. I get calls and emails meant for her and she gets mine (like this one). I tell all advisors to change and next time I go for service same thing happens. Would appreciate this being fixed

All items on the purchase prices were not explained to me and I asked about an unidentified "dealer adjustment" The finance manager was not willing to provide a simple answer. Instead he focused on "is this your signature" for 40 minutes. He could have spent more time if my husband did not step in and tried to get an answer from him. He finally responded to my husband. I left the dealership very unsatisfied with the service I received.

I was lied to about the status of my car and left in limbo for two weeks. I was told my car would be detailed for my inconvenience and it was not. Completely dusty and u cleaned when received. The air vents are broken and side door coming down. Button to adjust mirrors doesn’t work. I was told I would have lojack installed and there is no evidence that it is.
