I’ve always been skeptical of dealerships/garages performing maintenance on my vehicles as I’ve done so for as long as I can remember, but this is my first vehicle that I can have maintained for free with priority for life. So with that, today’s appointment was for a simple state inspection. I was told my wipers were “failing”, but I do recall replacing them not long after purchasing the vehicle last year and haven’t noticed any wear that would fail them. But more clarification on why they failed would’ve been nice other than just “they fail”. Also, I waited an hour and a half which seems very excessive for an inspection. Especially given how little people were there due to the virus concerns. When everything was finished, I got to my car and all the plastic put on the seat and steering wheel to protect the mechanics from any virus concern was still there. That may protect you, but not me if it’s left there. I had to remove it. That should’ve been done by the mechanics who were all wearing latex gloves. Finally, I started to leave and saw that the plastic on the new wiper blades weren’t even removed. How hard is it? As a mechanic, your goal should be to provide the customer with service that meets their need, and return their vehicle in the same condition as before, or better. Having to wait an excessive time, and clean up after your mess, was not what I’d expect from a good mechanic.

The service fee w is very expensive and the person who took the appointment and service advisor , Hose Becerra is very rude. The courtesy vehicle driver was OK. Checking the airbag light is $99.95 is very expensive. And I think it should be in the warranty to fix it.
