I put my comments in a text message with suggestions for being a more successful customer service agent:
This text says appointment time, not check-in time as the receptionist repeatedly told me. She wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule after she told me it could take 3 hours!!! Why am I making an appointment if you can't do the work at that time? I'd like the name of the manager and a call from him/her. This is no way to treat customers who may be in the market for a car someday. When I saw at 11:40 that my car was inside, I asked the technician how long it would take and before he could answer me, Shayna was confronting me telling me not to speak to her technician. I went back to the office and explained that there must be a better way for us to communicate that maybe she could have told me that she would get me in as soon as she could and didn't know how long it would take. She continued to argue her point of view which is never the right way to handle a customer. An apology for the misunderstanding would have gone a long way. I know I've worked in customer service and apologized to many people even when I knew I was right.
