Stop selling. Tell the customer what is needed. My $1000 estimate for an oil change 2000 miles earlier than needed after dropping hundreds my last time in did not make me happy. On a car with 80,0000 miles....Why wasn't drive belt part 9f last manufacturer's recommened services??? If it was so bad all of a sudden...

I told them what the error code was and they could see it in the history. I think that they should of trouble shot the issue more. I monitored the engine temperature and found it to be in the low 150s to low 160s. About 20 to 30 degrees below normal. I would think that should of lead to more troubleshooting.
