I came into Carson Toyota because my tire light was on. I purchased the vehicle at AutoNation Toyota Cerritos. When the vehicle was purchased a tire package was also purchased. I was assured that I could take the car to the nearest Toyota dealership if any problems occurred. However, when I took it to Carson Toyota that was not the case. The service advisor Jimmy insisted that I did not have a tired package in the system. I asked him if he could bring the vehicle around so I could retrieve the paperwork for proof. He told me without the tire package showing in the system my paperwork meant absolutely nothing. I explained to him that in September of 2019 I had a tired issue, Carson Toyota made sure it was taken care of through Safe Guard. He then went on to tell me that was not true and that the tire was not taken care of through my tire package but that I paid for the tire replacement which I continued to tell him was not true. I asked him if I should call AutoNation Toyota Cerritos to receive any information that he may need to replace the tire, he told me it would be a waste of time. He told me he would have the mechanic take a look at the car/tires to see if a replacement was even needed or if it was simply just the air pressure. I never received a call from him with any information. I received a text saying the car was ready and paperwork saying I declined a tire replacement, which was not true. I was not made aware what was done to the car. I was not made aware that a tire was definitely in need of replacement. I was not made aware of anything. If I did not seek help from a different advisor before leaving I would have left the lot with a bad tire without any knowledge that it definitely needed to be replaced. My safety on the road should have been a priority, it was not. Following the appointment I had no choice but to take the car to AutoNation Toyota Cerritos, where they found it in the system right away and said the Carson Toyota advisor should have been able to see the same information and replace the tire. Due to my safety being compromised, my experience was not only horrible but completely offensive.

Well I’m upset you guys did not want to fix the ripped cv boot for my tacoma that I bought from you guys last year a 2019 if the truck should be covered under its warranty. Truck is under 15k miles don’t understand how that boot ripped. A friend of mine had the same issue and had it replace with no charge at all, so that makes me want to take my business somewhere else.

Jimmy was not easy to work with... and seems to have some attitude issue. Doesn’t seem to care about what I was trying to tell him. In fact, he even frowned when I told him that I had a coupon. When I asked why the service it’s taking much longer then he quoted. He said that’s the way it is, and didn’t even attempted to call back ito the shop and find out what’s causing the delay. I have always come to Carson Toyota to get periodic services on my vehicle. And had never encountered anyone so rude. If he continue this behavior, I am sure he will drive away your customers.
